30+ farmers and ranchers have pooled their resources to treat the many laterals that carry irrigation water from the Middle Valley Ditch onto private land throughout the community of Midvale. Volunteers will work cooperatively for 2-days to treat such invaders as Leafy spurge, Rush skeletonweed, Jointed goatgrass, Scotch & Canada thistle, and numerous other noxious weeds which are infecting or pose a threat to these tributaries of the lateral system. This project is a perfect compliment to the Middle Valley Ditch Project as it furthers treatment to most of the irrigated ground in this area.
