Five private landowners have pooled their dollars and pledged their time and equipment to treat Scotch thistle, Leafy spurge, White top and Rush skeletonweed.  This project was originally completed in two phases; one in the spring with a fall treatment for spurge and skeletonweed.  Landowners are now treating the early species on their own with the group joining forces in the fall for treatment of the perennial plants.  Private landowners will independently continue herbicide treatments as well as rehabilitation efforts to enhance this project area.
