This project was new in 2007 and is located immediately north of the Cambridge city limits.  The cemetery lies just southwest of this project area which explains why the project coordinator chose this name.  Leafy spurge continues to degrade this area with Scotch thistle and knapweeds threatening to gain a toe-hold.  Four private landowners decided coordinated efforts are indeed the best way to begin containing the satellite infestations which exist in this particular landscape.  This project drew a great deal of interest from other neighbors in its first year, they have expressed a great deal of interest in becoming involved in the immediate future.
